Filippos Papafilippou & Racetech by Tzanidakis Dragteam Breaks Record Again in Europe.
Filippos Papafilippou is now the Record Holder for the quickest run on a nitrous motorcycle in Europe. This past weekend at the rained out Festival of Power in Santa Pod Raceway in the UK, the Top Fuel Bike team broke another record.
"From our lovely and one of our favorite tracks, Santa Pod on a cold Saturday morning, we reset the European record in 1/8th, which we already had. We had 4.29sec @ 167mph in 1/8th and we did 4.21sec @172.71mph. Unfortunately we may have been able to better that number but I had closed the throttle and shut off early because bike was drifting to the left." said Filippos
Temperatures were very low and track conditions were tricky as mother nature choose to not make it easy. The quickest run was achieved with high ratio gearing set for quarter mile and average 60'. There is a lot more in there. Stay Tuned as this team works to break the record again.
